Pittsburgh International Airport (IATA: PIT, ICAO: KPIT, FAA LID: PIT), formerly Greater Pittsburgh Airport, Greater Pittsburgh International Airport and commonly referred to as Pittsburgh International, is a civil–military international airport in the Pittsburgh suburbs of Findlay Township and Moon Township, about 20 miles (30 km) west of downtown Pittsburgh at Exit 53 of I-376 and the north end of PA Turnpike 576 (Future I-576).

The Pittsburgh Airport has flights to Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, and Europe. Nonstop transatlantic flights resumed on June 3, 2009 when Delta Air Lines began flights to Paris. The new service operates 5 days a week and was made possible by Delta’s successful joint-venture with Air France.

Pittsburgh Airport is the second busiest passenger airport in Pennsylvania and 47th-busiest in the United States, serving 8,041,357 passengers in 2012. The Pittsburgh Airport has the longest runways of a commercial airport in Pennsylvania at 11,500 feet (3,500 m).
