Salt Lake City International Airport (IATA: SLC, ICAO: KSLC, FAA LID: SLC) is a civil-military airport about 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The airport is the closest commercial airport for more than 2.5 million people and is within a 30 minute drive of nearly 1.3 million jobs.

The Salt Lake City Airport is the fourth largest and westernmost hub for Delta Air Lines and a hub for Delta Connection carriers SkyWest Airlines and Endeavor Air with nearly 300 daily departures, accounting for a 73.69% market share in 2013.Following Delta and Delta Connection, the largest carriers are Southwest Airlines (11.45% market share), United Airlines and United Express (4.30%), US Airways and US Airways Express at (3.01%), and American Airlines and American Eagle (2.91%).

In 2013, 20,186,474 passengers flew through Salt Lake City, representing a .41% increase from 2012. The Salt Lake City Airport is the twenty-first busiest airport in the United States by passenger count. There were 328,122 aircraft operations (takeoffs and landings) in 2012, about 900 per day. The airport is the fifteenth busiest airport in the United States and twenty fourth in the world by operations.

Business Center: Regus Express offers computers with internet connection and other business services. Location: Terminal Two, between Concourse C & D. Hours: 7 am – 9pm
Baggage Carts – available for a rate of $5.00 (the highest rate I have found to date). There is a $0.25 refund for returning the cart.
Car Rentals – Advantage • Alamo • Avis • Budget • Dollar • Enterprise • Fox • Hertz • National • Thrifty. Location: Ground floor, short-term parking garage.
Children’s Play Areas: Locations: Concourses A, B, and E
Currency Exchange – Zions Bank offers foreign exchange services. Locations: Terminal 2
DVD & Movie Rentals – bored and need some entertainment? InMotion Pictures rents portable DVDs players and movies. Location: at the top of Concourse D. The movie drop-off location is on the connector between Concourses B and C. Hours: 7am – 8pm.
Food / Dining – There are many food and beverage concessions available. However, at the time of this update, only the vending machines were available 24 hours.
