Safi Airways Co. (Persian: خطوط هوایی صافی‎)is an Afghan airline. Safi Airways was founded in 2006 by Abdul Rahim Safi (Chairman) and Hamid Safi (CEO); Afghan businessman. This private airline has its headquarters in Shahr-e-Naw, Kabul, an administrative office in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, and a downtown ticketing office in Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Safi Airways became the first Afghan airline to pass the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Flight ticket reservations are available in the Amadeus Global Distribution Systems, Galileo and Worldspan. Sabre will follow soon. Its flights can therefore be booked from anywhere in the world. Safi Airways uses Hahn Air to sell electronic tickets by travel agents around the world. A traveler can now book tickets from his hometown all the way to his Afghan destination and back, which was not possible before. Safi Airways commenced operations between the Afghan capital Kabul and Frankfurt in Germany. This service was suspended on 24 November 2010 due to an EU ban imposed on all Afghan carriers flying into Europe. Safi Airways is trying to obtain an exemption from this ban now it has passed IOSA. The airline is banned from flying within the European Union.

Safi Airways serves the following destinations (as of December 2012): Herat – Herat International Airport, Kabul – Kabul International Airport Hub, Delhi – Indira Gandhi International Airport, Islamabad – Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad – Benazir Bhutto International Airport.
